Useful decisions, with a dry sense of humor
A good guide should help you make a decision: what to play, what to cut, when to act, or when to keep your money. Rankings reflect editorial judgment and format context. An expensive card is not automatically a good purchase for your deck.
Our editorial standard
Card names, mana costs, Oracle text, color identity, and format legality are checked against Scryfall and official Wizards sources when preparing an article. Rules interactions are checked against official release notes and the Comprehensive Rules. Time-sensitive checks include a date. Rumors are labeled separately from confirmed announcements.
Combo guides should state the starting board, additional resources, repeatable actions, net mana, result, and likely interruption point. Product guides should distinguish announced US prices from local market prices. Each article should add a practical decision, comparison, or deckbuilding example.
Tools assist source discovery and drafting. The publishing checklist requires a finished article, factual review, useful original advice, and a visual check before publication. We do not publish a source summary as a finished guide.
Corrections
Found a mistake? Send a correction with the article URL, the disputed sentence, and a source or rules reference. Confirmed errors are corrected in the original article. Content revisions carry an updated date; navigation and category maintenance do not count as editorial revisions.
