  • How Untap MTG Labels Rumors and Confirmed News

Magic moves quickly, especially during preview season. Untap MTG will use clear labels so readers can tell the difference between confirmed information, credible reporting and speculation.

Confirmed means the information comes from Wizards of the Coast, an official Magic channel, a publisher partner or another directly verifiable source.

Rumor means the information is circulating in the community but has not been confirmed. Rumor posts should be treated as signals, not facts.

Speculation means the article is analysis or an educated guess based on known information.

Leaked card images will not be treated as official previews unless they are later confirmed by an official source.
